SUMMARY:Honduras Mission Trip: June 18-28
DESCRIPTION:Honduras Mission Trip 2026!\nPrince of Peace will partner with non-profit\, Haven Universe on a mission trip to serve various communities in Honduras from June 18-28\, 2026. We are excited to support the following PoP members in this mission: Luke Dillon; Ric\, Sherry\, and Sydney Kienzle. Please keep these missionaries in your prayers in the weeks leading up to the trip!\n \nThe itinerary will include planned medical brigades and construction projects for those living in remote communities. Donations are being accepted to fund these projects\, and we give thanks for all the generous donations thus far!  If you are interested in learning more about how to contribute to this year’s trip\, please contact  Ric or Sherry Kienzle.

SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Adopted Families
DESCRIPTION:As the season of gratitude and giving approaches\, Prince of Peace is once again honored to participate in the City of Gaithersburg’s Holiday Giving Program. This Thanksgiving\, our congregation will support six families by providing all the traditional fixings for a festive meal\, along with grocery store gift cards so they can purchase additional items of their choosing. \n  \nWe will not receive our families’ names until the beginning of November. \n  \nThere will be many meaningful ways to contribute. Our first opportunity to help is for volunteers to serve as family contacts—reaching out to learn about any special dietary needs or requests.
