DESCRIPTION:Our fall season of Sunday School kicks off on September 7 with classes for all ages. Sunday School will run from 11 – 11:50 am\, following the 10 am worship service. \nJoin us for PreK-K through 12th-grade Sunday School classes starting on Sept. 7 at 11 am! PreK-K and Elementary classes will meet in the Fellowship Hall for Opening\, where we’ll start with lively music together before breaking into our classes for the day’s lesson. Middle and High School classes will meet in BYC. See Sept. Glad Tidings for more info. All are welcome any week they can attend! Contact Janet Levine with any questions or concerns. \nAdult Coffee and Conversation Hour returns in the fall after Sunday services\, starting in September! Join us weekly after services for the Coffee and Conversation hour at 11am in the sanctuary. Throughout the year\, we will include service activities at the church\, welcome speakers from outside organizations\, and host group Bible study and conversation. DESCRIPTION:As the season of gratitude and giving approaches\, Prince of Peace is once again honored to participate in the City of Gaithersburg’s Holiday Giving Program. This Thanksgiving\, our congregation will support six families by providing all the traditional fixings for a festive meal\, along with grocery store gift cards so they can purchase additional items of their choosing. \n  \nWe will not receive our families’ names until the beginning of November. \n  \nThere will be many meaningful ways to contribute. Our first opportunity to help is for volunteers to serve as family contacts—reaching out to learn about any special dietary needs or requests. Please keep these missionaries in your prayers in the weeks leading up to the trip!\n \nThe itinerary will include planned medical brigades and construction projects for those living in remote communities.
