Ongoing Events

Donating Food – PoP members donate non-perishable foods for Gaithersburg HELP throughout the year.  In addition, we are a community collection depot for Gaithersburg HELP.  

Collecting Used Glasses for the Lions Club.

Making Quilts lovingly providing for shelter and warmth around the world, distributed through Lutheran World Relief.

Dinners for those living in Shelters, often with Stepping Stones Shelter.

Signature Partnership Events

The Interfaith 5K brings together Christian, Muslim, and Jewish faiths every Labor Day as a symbol of mutual respect and coordination among faiths.  Funds raised are donated to help our community.

Honduras Mission Trip – Members of PoP travel to Honduras each summer with Haven Universe, to rebuild community structures, provide medical supplies, and bring the word of God to those in need. 

Juneteenth Celebration with the Route 28/Quince Orchard Interfaith Team.

NNIA Volleyball Tournament with the (NNIA) New Neighbor Interfaith Alliance
