Thanksgiving Adopted Families

As the season of gratitude and giving approaches, Prince of Peace is once again honored to participate in the City of Gaithersburg’s Holiday Giving Program. This Thanksgiving, our congregation will support six families by providing all the traditional fixings for a festive meal, along with grocery store gift cards so they can purchase additional items of their choosing.
We will not receive our families’ names until the beginning of November.
There will be many meaningful ways to contribute. Our first opportunity to help is for volunteers to serve as family contacts—reaching out to learn about any special dietary needs or requests. We will have a need for Spanish speaking individuals to contact with some of our families.
